Leng Chee Kang

One of the few things which I love about the Leng Chee Kang in Penang is that it is cheap, delicious and full of ingredients! The leng chee kang - is no exception as well!

A small bowl costs RM2.50 while RM4 for the big one and they all contain 12 toppings (from top to bottom, left to right) of sea coconut, ginkgo seed, longan, lychee, rambutan, red bean, agar agar (jelly), sago pearls, white fungus, sweet potato cubes, sliced dried persimmons and dried longans. The massive selection of toppings alone should be enough bring a smile to any dessert lover lol.

I randomly picked this stall, as there were many leng chee kang stalls along this row of food court stalls. The bowl of leng chee kang arrived not too long later, and it did not disappoint one bit.

It was filled to the brim, ranging from longan to white fungus, sweet potato, agar agar and a whole other ingredients which I do not even know its name!

This is very worth the money! Surely something I cannot get from KL with these kind of prices. The ingredients are so much, I actually felt that there was not enough liquid to go around with.
